Alright my last few articles have been about indulging in food. I also believe in exercising well enough so that you can enjoy your food without any of the guilt of putting on weight laying the smacketh  down on your conscience.

So here is my tip for the day- WHEN TO EXERCISE!!

It would be awesome if you can exercise both in the morning and evening. But if you had to choose one session then it would be better to exercise in ‘ THE EVENING’.  The reason behind this is based on an hormone in the body called Growth Hormone( GH). Growth hormone is a hormone that’s responsible for lean muscle mass. ( I could go into much more detail on how and all but then you would stop reading the article ). So Growth hormone formation in the body is highest from around midnight to early morning, So when you wake up your body is high in GH, and that means your metabolism is at a higher rate. There is no GH formation in the body during the evening and metabolism is very slow then. Exercise stimulates the formation of GH in the body. So when you exercise in the evening you are making more GH in the body. And this will help in the formation of more lean mass and burn more fat.

To  put everything in a Nut shell- morning GH already high so fat burning and lean muscle mass formation taking place. evening no GH, exercise make more GH so increasing fat burning and lean muscle.

There is no doubt that you will burn fat and gain muscle whether you exercise in the morning or evening. This is just optimizing your time :) .

And remember exercise any time of the day is good!!

I recently started ‘Restroview’ where i give my opinion on places i’ve eaten at. Well I dont believe in food critiques who dont cook/ bake themselves.they’ve no idea how much effort it takes to make those creations which satiate one’s gastric juices.

here's a brownie recipe i had tried out . Works out for you vegetarians
who want to avoid eggs. and you can do it with a microwave oven also.
The Regular Chocolate Brownie :)

Requirements-
Maida- 2 cups
Water-1 cup
Demerara ( brown ) sugar- 1 cup.
Granulated sugar (white) - 1 cup. note- white sugar has to be grinded.
it's optional for the brown .
Salt- 1 teaspoon
Vanilla essence- 1 teaspoon
Chocolate- preferably finely chopped chocolate about 200g. or
as a substitute cocoa powder can also be used- 3/4th cup
Oil- 1/2 cup
Baking Powder- 1/2 teaspoon
optional- Nuts/ alcohol/ chocolate chips/ cinnamon

Procedure- Preparation - 15-20mins
1- Boil water.
2- As the water is boiling add 1/2 cup of Maida and start mixing it.
3- After Maida has been mixed, remove the mixture off the boil and
keep it aside. let it cool.
4- Melt the chocolate if you're using it.
5- To the chocolate add the sugars, the oil and Vanilla essence.
6- Add the first mixture to the chocolate mix.
7- Sift the remaining Maida, Baking Powder and salt.
8- Now add this to the above mixture, and mix it with your hand.
9- If you're using any of the optional items you can add it now.
10- Add it to a pan that's been greased by butter or alternatively you can use a butter paper.
Heat at 180 degrees C for 35 mins.
You are ready to go now!!
Points to be noted- It's very important not to over bake it.
So it's ok if you pause the oven once around 30 minutes to check on it.
Another important point is in a cake you test if it's ready when the you dip a knife/ toothpick and nothing
sticks to it when you remove it. That's not true for a brownie. It has to stick over here.
It does not matter which cup you use as long as it's the same cup size for
 all the ingredients :)

This is about this place i had been to in The Sheraton Galaxy-’ Berries and Barrels’.

Cold coffees over here are amongst the best i’ve had. I would totally recommend the Black Forest Gateux, it’s an awesome blend of Black Forest pastry, with ice cream and cold coffee.  Also the smoothies are decent. When I say the berries are deceptive, I mean it totally, I had this dessert called Star Spiced Chocolate Mousse- one of the most amazing presentations, but the taste was quite not upto the mark, even the mousse consistency was just not right.

Does not live upto the looks!

The other dessert my friend ordered Fennel Panacotta on an ocean of Mango consomme was a much better choice

So if you do go there, it would be preferable to stick to the Cold coffees, which would get a rating of 5 on 5. The desserts would be something in between 2-3 on 5. Again the coffees are reasonably priced, and the desserts are a little too expensive. Nice place to take a date.
